First Past The Post At CopyBet "National Hunt" Maiden Hurdle (GBB Race)

Point and bumper runner-up who has posted a run of solid efforts in a novice and two maidens, latterly jumping better but hanging badly when second at Catterick (about 2m3f, good) in late December; tongue-tie goes on and he's still a leading contender.

Finished last of five on his debut at Market Rasen in December but that was a warm little race and he again displayed ability when fourth of 16 at Newcastle (also about 2m4f, good to soft) the following month; should make his presence felt.

Ex-Irish gelding who is 0-11 under rules; little to shout about in three runs on good to soft for Dan Skelton but this represents a drop in grade; might show more with drying ground probably in his favour.

Bought for 25,000euros after his Irish point win in November but no show in three qualifying runs over hurdles (about 2m) and handicapper is yet to blink; goes up in trip for his fourth start in this sphere.

Displayed some ability when pointing in 2023 (including a Flat race) but beaten 17l in a soft-ground Sedgefield bumper in early 2024 and absent since; makes hurdles debut with a fair bit to prove.
