Resurgent 8yo who has form figures of 2112 this month and was a clear second behind an improver in Chelmsford handicap (7f) on Sunday; his sole run over this trip was a long time ago but he's been strong at the finish over 7f recently and is a big player if he can continue the good work; has new owners but he's still with James Owen.

Just one win from his last 30 starts and he's been well held here in last two runs, including in a classified event (7f) on Tuesday; this step back up in trip is no problem but he needs a major revival; blinkers reapplied.

12yo who has not won since 2023 and was tailed off over C&D on his last run in April; has plenty to prove on his return and this is a tough task at the weights.

Nothing like the force of old, but he's finished second in two classified events for his new yard including a near miss over C&D on his penultimate run; should be in the thick of things again and he's a key player.

Two of his four wins have come over C&D and he bounced back with an eyecatching fourth in a handicap here (1m) last month; usually comes from off the pace and has claims if he can build on that last run.
