Grade 3 novice hurdle winner last term and off the mark over fences this season at third attempt when taking 2m Fairyhouse beginners' last month in first-time cheekpieces, jumping well and asserting before the last; not nearly as fluent before that over 2m6f at same venue when third in strong beginners'; 2m4f trip fine and potential for more remains.

Maiden hurdle winner here last season but fell short at Grade 1 level twice afterwards; set to make a better chaser judged on Thurles beginners' win in late November, jumping well in beating a long odds-on stablemate (well beaten since); much more on his plate here but should hold his own.

Won the Goffs Defender Bumper here and 145-rated novice hurdler season before last, runner-up in two Grade 1s; returned from lengthy absence in rude health on chasing debut last month, making most and finding plenty to beat two smart types over 2m5f at Navan in testing conditions; high-class novice in the making and likely major player here.

Won sole point-to-point start for Derek O'Connor; only two runs over hurdles, winning 2m1f Cork maiden on second attempt; backed up promising chase debut effort at Naas (4l off Jacob's Ladder) with ready win in 2m rated novice here last month, travelling and jumping well; should have no trouble with 2m4f; yard won this with Spillane's Tower two years ago and looks a strong contender.
