Established trailblazer who bids for a four-timer from a 4lb higher mark (first two wins came over C&D); may face competition up front from Almaty Star, but he didn't lead when winning here last month so being able to dominate isn't a necessity; much respected.

Usually seen over further but is 2-6 over the minimum trip including when successful in a 0-105 at Wolverhampton (Tapeta) 11 days ago; whether he will be able to lay up over this sharper 5f in a strongly run race is open to doubt, though, while he is 0-28 off marks in the 90s.

Continues to slide down the weights and ran well when third of ten at Kempton (6f, Polytrack) four weeks ago, but that extended his losing run to 18 and this test could prove too sharp.

Has been ridden aggressively for his four wins (all on the AW) including at Newcastle (5f, Tapeta) last month, but being able to dominate here seems unlikely; stable also runs Almaty Star.

Usually makes the running, though only two of his four wins have come from the front; has winning form over C&D and although 1lb higher than for this month's two Chelmsford placings, is still 4lb lower than when last successful; could go well.
