Midnite Are Upping The Betting Game Handicap (GBBPlus Race)

Made a successful handicap debut at Kempton (1m4f, Polytrack) in October and, after flopping there next time, bounced back when chasing home an improver at Newcastle (1m2f, Tapeta) last month; return to this trip should suit and he's one for the shortlist.

Three wins over 1m2f on turf last year and was making her stable debut when second of seven over C&D last month; respected from the same mark.

Won his first two starts after wind surgery last spring including over C&D, but has regressed since and is not easy to recommend despite having dropped 3lb below his last winning mark.

Has taken off since returning in November from another absence, winning from the front at Kempton (1m4f, Polytrack) and Wolverhampton (1m4f, Tapeta) last month; raised another 6lb but very much on the up and should be hard to beat in his hat-trick bid.

Running well lately as when beaten just over 2l into second of ten behind Westcombe at Wolverhampton (1m4f, Tapeta) a fortnight ago; may have finished closer with a clearer run and 6lb better off here, but he is more much exposed than his old rival; shortlisted nonetheless.
