Midnite Are Upping The Betting Game Handicap

Everything went like clockwork when winning easily over C&D in November; good second off this mark next time but not in quite the same form when fifth at Southwell and over C&D since.

Ran okay from out of the handicap back from a break over C&D in November but failed to build on that when only seventh at Southwell since; starting to look well treated on last winter's AW form but need to see more.

All four wins over 5f on Tapeta, the latest here 25 days ago; he had subsequent winners in behind him on that occasion, including Gustav Graves, and should remain competitive off 4lb higher.

Ended his time with Mick Appleby with a 5f turf win at Lingfield in July but has largely struggled for this yard since, including back on AW a fortnight ago; has a hood refitted.

Still to add to his debut success but he's been placed on three of last four starts (AW last twice) and should be on the premises again assuming the outside stall isn't too big an inconvenience; visor goes back on.
