Missed all of 2025, having shown plenty of ability in novice hurdles in 2024; this point winner could relish the switch to fences and he has plenty of potential off his opening mark if retaining his previous promise.
He hasn't kicked on since winning a Grade 2 novice hurdle at Haydock (1m7f, soft) in January but didn't run badly when seventh of 18 in the Greatwood Handicap at Cheltenham (2m, soft) last month and the step back up in trip may be a positive; stable form has taken an upturn; not discounted.
Three wins over hurdles included a division of the maiden on this card last year and a Listed race when beating the smart Regent's Stroll; never positioned to lay a glove on Lulamba (who impressed at Sandown on Saturday) on chase debut at Exeter (2m1f, good to soft) but that run was eye-catching and this longer trip will surely benefit him enormously; he should be hard to beat.
