Gamble Responsibly At BetMGM Handicap Hurdle

Rebounded from two poor runs (one on the Flat) with respectable fifth at Worcester (2m4f, good) in September and probably wasn't suited by the soft ground when below that form over C&D last month but others in this line-up have more pressing claims.

Fast-ground Irish point winner who was placed on two of his first three hurdling starts, more recently after making the running at Uttoxeter (2m, soft; first-time tongue-tie) last month; back on quicker ground for this handicap debut and open to improvement.

Just 1-7 over hurdles but his close third off 3lb higher at Exeter (2m, good to soft) in November was a good effort and he probably ended up with a too much to do when fifth at Chepstow (2m, good to soft) a week ago; could have a say.

Showed promise on first three hurdling starts (2m-2m3f) and was unlucky to come to grief mid-race over C&D on last month's handicap debut; remains unexposed.

Ended last year with two good runs under Olive Nicholls at Taunton, the latter a keeping-on fourth in 0-130 grade (2m3f, good); also suited by this C&D and has a big role to play at this lower level.
