Won his first three starts on the AW as a 3yo and had been off for ten months when making a successful return in a Southwell seller (6f, Tapeta) 17 days ago; was favoured by the weights, though, and this will be harder back in a handicap.

Two wins each over 6f on turf for the Gosdens and Michael Bell and 4lb below his last winning mark; makes his debut for another new yard after four months off having changed hands for 10,000gns in September; held in only AW start (on Polytrack); enough to prove.

Winner of 15 races, including three this year, and is back off the same mark as when successful at Southwell (6f, Tapeta) in August; shortlisted.

Often in the frame, but just 1-16 and he didn't improve for the switch to the AW at Wolverhampton (6f, Tapeta) last month; look elsewhere.

Last two wins have come over 5f, including here in August, but no problem with the return to this trip and although off for three months he has won after a longer layoff; one for the shortlist.
