Hold-up performer who put up a much better effort when running stablemate Sheradann to half a length over C&D six weeks ago; shouldn't be much between the pair again, with the race likely to be run to suit him.

4-6 over C&D including this race for the past two years and is off the same mark as for his success 12 months ago; finished behind Sheradann and Enemy here six weeks ago, but was returning from four months off so the run may have set him up nicely for another bid.

Has won his last two starts on the AW and had four of these behind when successful over C&D six weeks ago; up 3lb and therefore 4lb higher than when runner-up in this last year, but he has to be a player in current mood.

Prolific in his younger days including two wins over C&D; has endured a couple of lengthy absences, though, and was having his second start back from another one when last of nine (behind four of these) here six weeks ago; needs to be transformed by the visor; stable also runs Zoran.

Consistent sort who is 7-24 on the AW; often front-runs, which he did to maximum effect over C&D in September, but he remains 5lb higher and may not get his own way this time; stable also runs Artisan Dancer.
