8yo who has had a long absence in his career but he made it 3-8 over hurdles when scoring at Fontwell (2m3f, good to soft) in October and was creditable third in another Class 3 handicap at Sandown (2m4f) last time; this is a new test at this trip but he still looks on a workable mark and is respected on this drop back in grade.

Easily won the Eider Chase at Newcastle (4m1f, good to soft) in February but he's struggled in four subsequent runs including when back over hurdles at Cheltenham (2m5f, soft) last month; now only 2lb higher than for his last win but he needs a major revival back up in trip.

Unexposed 6yo who made it second-time lucky over hurdles when landing a Taunton maiden (2m3f, good to soft) in February; that was a narrow success but he beat a clear second and is open to more progress in handicaps this season; interesting contender upped to 2m7f on his return.

Runner-up in sole Irish point in May 2024; easy win on hurdling debut at Wincanton (2m5f, good to soft) last November and he reappeared with a creditable third in a Chepstow handicap (2m3f, soft) last month; shaped like a stayer in that last run and this unexposed 5yo could be a big factor on his step up to this trip.
