Won his second Edinburgh National at Musselburgh (about 4m, good to soft) in February when sporting first-time cheekpieces; beaten a fair way but it was still an okay effort when sixth of 14 in another valuable event at Uttoxeter (3m, good) when last seen in May; by no means discounted.

Three-time chase winner who won a course handicap (3m, good) in April; yet to get going in two starts this term but kept at it last time and is far from dismissed.

Likeable hurdler but he's not the biggest and struggled on his chase debut at Exeter last month; handicap debut in this sphere represents an easier task, however, and he won't fail through lack of trying.

Can get warm; form figures of 2113 here but he's suffered heavy defeats in two starts this autumn and isn't easy to suggest despite a reduced mark; Jonjo O'Neill an unusual booking for this yard; worth a market check.

Won a hunter chase here (3m) in April and it was a solid return to handicap company when third at Fontwell (3m2f, also good to soft) in October; tailed off in three-runner affair at Plumpton last time, however; needs to bounce back, but that's by no means unlikely.
