Made most to win on handicap hurdle debut at Ffos Las (2m4f, soft) in January; well-beaten favourite on chase/seasonal debut three weeks ago but wasn't disgraced and should build on that; not ruled out.

Has had two wind operations, the latest after a poor run in January 2024; good second on handicap debut (2m4f, good to soft) next time and justified 6-5 favouritism in clearcut fashion in maiden hurdle at Fontwell (2m6f, good) that May; off 574 days since but should make a chaser.

Three chase wins in France and another two at Ffos Las (2m and extended 2m3f, soft) under Rian Corcoran last month; travelled much the best last time before overcoming a mistake two out, so has more to give; up another 6lb but still of major interest.

Acts on soft; all five wins under rules have been over fences at Sedgefield over this sort of trip, latest last December; improvement stalled afterwards but he resumes on a competitive mark, with good record after a break.

Sole win (16 races under rules) was over 2m on soft at Uttoxeter in February; has a competitive mark and may well be best in the mud, so this autumn's two runs on good ground may be forgiven, but this is his first race beyond 2m under rules, having pulled up in all three of his 3m points.
