Dual-purpose; three chase wins, the latest coming in this race a year ago off 137; just 2lb higher now and the soft ground was a valid excuse for his latest below par effort; previously demonstrated his well-being with a good run on the Flat; chance.

Notched up second chase win at Kilbeggan in June off 120 (2m4f, gd-yld); beaten a nose back there off his revised mark on his next start; however, his last three runs have been poor so he needs to rediscover his best.

Talented hurdler placed at Grade 2 level in that sphere; 0-4 over fences and has been sparingly raced in the last two seasons; off since below par effort on debut for this yard at Wexford in May; capable but probably best watched on return to action.

Won at Kilbeggan in May (20.5f, good) off 117 and far from disgraced off 122 in the Blazers at Galway (22.5f, good); below best in listed handicap chase at Killarney (2m5f) latest; could rebound returned to a right-handed track, though this trip might be sharp enough.
