Race In Pink Raceday On Sunday 26th October Beginners Chase

Dual hurdle winner but beaten a long way in his last two handicaps, one of them won by his stablemate Will The Wise; this is his chase debut but might be one for another day.

Won two of his four hurdle races and earned a mark of 127; bit keen but jumped fine when fourth (12l behind) in a good chase at the big meeting here in July (2m2f, good) and could be hard to beat with a repeat of that effort.

Made great strides last season as a hurdler, winning three times and ending up with a mark of 138; trip/ground will be fine and entitled to do well as a chaser (runner-up in his only point).

Bumper winner for previous yard and long odds-on when winning a Hexham 2m maiden hurdle (good to soft) for his current one earlier in the year, after which he was beaten when taking a late fall on handicap debut (2m7f); goes chasing with low mileage and no doubt has better days ahead of him.

Has hardly hit the ground running over fences having been beaten 32l and 23l over 2m1f and 2m7f respectively; sure to come good at some stage but peak form is over further, including a sixth in last season's 3m Pertemps Final at Cheltenham.
