Tickincor Handicap Chase

Winner of one of his four points; tailed off in a hunters' chase and two beginners' starts; may do better in handicaps but others preferred.

Is 0-14 under rules; unseated on chasing debut when hampered by a loose horse; went well for a long way last time in a beginners' chase at Downpatrick (2m2f, yielding) when ground may not have suited; one of the likelier ones.

Showed good form earlier in the summer when a runner-up in three consecutive races (two over hurdles); below that level hurdling at Tramore in August and unseated too early at Galway last time to discern much when 4-1 second favourite back over fences; contender.

Is 1-15 over hurdles with his win coming at Wexford for Brendan Walsh in May last year off a mark of 87 (2m1f, soft); off since pulling up on chasing/stable debut at Punchestown in January when not out of it before making a bad mistake at three out (2m3f, soft); tongue tie on now and market will be informative.

Got sole hurdles win in a Sligo maiden last year, but eight chasing starts have been disappointing and is rated 9lb lower in this sphere; weakened into a well beaten fourth at Roscommon last time (2m, good); down 2lb more now.
