Off the mark over hurdles in a handicap at Sligo in June (3m2f, good); decent runs in defeat following that but shapes as though he may prefer a return to the distance of his victory; below his best back at Sligo last time when favourite but well beaten (2m5f, good); others are more appealing and Kennedy prefers Penny Perfect.

Two of three hurdles victories have come over C&D, including last time when winning off a mark of 109 (good); a pair of decent runs in defeat in prior chasing starts; he's in fine spirits at the moment and loves this track so has a lot going for him but softer conditions would pose a question.

Flying at the moment after getting his maiden victory at Kilbeggan in July and following that up with a runner-up finish back at that track against a very well handicapped rival; won again in a small-field novice at Tramore last month when upped in trip (2m4f, good); shapes as though he should appreciate this trip.

Excelled after being stepped up in trip here over 2m6f on second start last time (good), winning by 9.5l in the end; the choice of Kennedy with further improvement likely.

Winner on fifth hurdle start in a Galway handicap earlier this month (2m6f, good to yielding) off 98; was soundly beaten on penultimate start on soft at Cartmel in June (2m6f), so may not appreciate these conditions.
