Mike Harrison 70th Birthday Handicap Hurdle

Successful at around 2m1f over hurdles/fences in Ireland; well beaten in 2m7f/2m handicap chases for this yard earlier in the year and likely best watched for now.

Last three runs were over fences, winning the first of those over 2m on soft ground when 1lb lower; effective over hurdles but this might be a pipe-opener before returning to chasing.

Raced up with a strong pace when winning at Uttoxeter (2m, good) so that was a good effort off 3lb lower; got warm before disappointing at Perth and 2m4f perhaps too far last time.

Dangerous off this mark on peak hurdle form but finished last on the Flat only recently after a long absence; trip/ground fine but has some questions to answer.

Five-time hurdle winner who should be well handicapped as he was third in the 2023 Swinton last year off 9lb higher; however, now back from another absence and he's a 10yo now.
