Hitz Horizons Handicap Chase (Go North Red Rum Series Qualifier) (GBB Race)

Lightly raced 7yo, who won a maiden hurdle in April 2024 and reached the frame in three handicaps (2m5f/3m) last season; returns after another break but she was progressive over hurdles and should have a future at this new discipline; yard also runs Dollar Collar.

Recorded her second hurdle win when scoring at Kelso (2m6f, good) in April but was disappointing there in final run in the spring; has shaped as though this trip should be within range but has a bit to prove on return and was pulled up in only previous attempt over fences; visor added.

Enhanced his strike-rate over fences to 7-24 with a clearcut win at Perth (3m, good) on his return from more than a year out; didn't get very far at Listowel two weeks ago but was badly hampered by a faller and he was heavily backed in that competitive race; still looks on a workable mark and this admirable veteran is a key player for in-form yard.

C&D winner but his last success was 17 months ago and he struggled at Kelso (2m5f, good) last month; now goes back up in trip but he's not easy to predict and others are preferred; regular visor removed.

Three of his four chase wins have been at Cartmel but he ran right up to his best when runner-up at Perth (3m, good) two weeks ago; was beaten less than 2l in that race and he's respected off unchanged mark.
