Low-mileage 8yo; only his second chase start when winning by 4.5l at Musselburgh (2m, good to soft) on what proved his final run for James Ewart; joined the Skeltons for £11,000 and the potential is there to improve some more.

Unable to win any of his seven races over hurdles and difficult to call him well handicapped for this chase debut on what he's shown; can be too free.

Pulled up on chase debut last October but a better horse now, having won five handicap hurdles in his last six starts (1m7f-2m3f); pretty much all out to win his last two, though the latest was off 1lb higher; respected.

Consistent gelding who won again from the front with a visor back on at Cartmel in August (by 3l; 2m1f, good); only 3lb higher and, for one who stays 3m, he's unlikely to hang about.

Has won two of his nine chase starts but his good runs back from an absence were over hurdles and he was well beaten returned to this discipline at Stratford a month ago; reservations on the back of that effort.
