David Pipe Racing Handicap Hurdle

Ex-Irish 6yo who was made joint-favourite for last month's stable debut but was in the rear division throughout; remains unexposed but clearly needs to take a big step forward here.

Career-best form when coming from off the pace to score at Uttoxeter (2m7f, good) in July but safely held over that trip twice since; needs to find hidden reserves to overcome current mark on this drop back to 2m4f.

Looked useful in bumpers last autumn and was very respectable fourth on subsequent hurdling debut at Ascot (2m5f, good to soft); found things tough in two good-quality events afterwards but has sights lowered on this handicap debut and could still have significant potential.

Made the frame on all three hurdling starts last season, most recently when third of seven at Ffos Las (2m4f, soft) in April; makes handicap debut after 177-day absence and on faster ground but is open to improvement.

Drew clear to score in first-time visor at Fonwell (2m3f, good to soft) in March and is now 4-14 over hurdles; returns from seven-month absence on career-high mark but won when fresh last autumn; a possible.
