Coral Racing Club Stayers Handicap (GBBPlus Race)

This is his first run of the year and his best form thus far has come on AW or heavy ground; however, this lightly raced 5yo hails from a good yard and was progressive when last seen; no surprise to see a big run.

Ex-French 4yo who has run okay on his last two starts, finishing fifth of ten over C&D (good) then 5l fourth of 11 at Southwell (1m6f, AW); however, he needs something extra this afternoon.

In and out this season and disappointing at Chester six weeks ago (first visit there); however, prior to that she went close at Carlisle (1m6f, good) and she was second in this race last year (soft); capable of having a say.

Won this last year (soft) and added the Chester Plate (2m2f, good) in May; now back down to that last winning mark but he's finished down the field on his last four outings and needs to turn things around.

Out of form on his last three starts in the spring; however, he goes well fresh so a break may have helped, and he's now 10lb lower than when third at Southwell (2m, AW) in February; interesting contender.
