Sold for 165,000gns in July and made a good start for his new connections when dead-heating for third over C&D (good to firm) at the Ebor meeting, finishing strongly despite having raced freely out wide; he needs to bounce back from a poor show at Doncaster, however.

Short-headed when he finished strongly at Newmarket (1m) in July and he was denied a clear run at top meetings on starts either side; never able to challenge in a muddling 1m2f race on latest start (gelded since) and worth this third crack at 1m2f; interesting.

Debut at Ayr last September remains his only win but three of his last four starts (two over 1m2f at Ayr, one C&D) suggest he is capable of getting seriously involved.

Still a maiden after seven races but runner-up in four, including over about 1m2f in two of his three handicaps; in the mix.
