William Hill Autumn Mile Handicap

Mixed results in Group races across his five starts this season and below par at Haydock last time; however, he was second in a Group 3 at Epsom (1m, good) in June and is on a handy mark on that form; in with a chance.

Made a promising start to his career for Aidan O'Brien last August and September, but down the field on stable debut in AW Listed race last November and tailed off at 50-1 on belated reappearance in a handicap at Haydock a fortnight ago; a transformation is needed in a first-time tongue-tie.

Won the competitive Golden Mile at Goodwood (1m, soft) in August and is just 2lb higher today; however, below that level subsequently and slow ground at Goodwood brings out the best in him; looks opposable.

Went very close in this race last year (soft) and won competitive handicap at Ayr (1m, soft) last month; however, below par at Ascot (7f, soft) only last Saturday and he's unlikely to have his favoured conditions today.

7yo who hasn't been able to reproduce his very best form this season but he's dropped down the weights accordingly and there have been promising signs on his last few starts, finishing fifth of 17 over C&D (good to firm) in August and fourth of 14 at Ayr (1m, soft) last time; in the mix.
