Godolphin Flying Start Nursery Handicap

Highly tried after winning a Doncaster maiden (5f, good to firm) in May, finishing out of the frame (albeit far from disgraced) in two Listed contests and three ultra-valuable sales races; 7f should be within range on nursery debut but he has to concede weight to some less exposed rivals.

Looked fortunate to win at Sandown (7f, good to firm) in July on debut; third of five in a novice on the July Course here (1m, good to firm) in August but, having been gelded, failed to stay in a nursery at Doncaster (1m, good to soft) last month; drop back in trip may help but others are more solid.

Fourth in his next four starts after his successful Southwell debut (5f, AW) in April, but has won in fine style at Newbury (7f, good) and Haydock (7f, good) on his last two outings; up another 7lb but he ran into trouble last time so that effort can be marked up even further; much respected.

Progressive in three starts, beating his 13 rivals in a Kempton novice (7f, AW) last time; more is still needed from him on nursery debut now returned to turf, but that is possible.

0-5; came closest to winning when beaten a neck in a Musselburgh novice (5f, good) in August, but twice well held since and he didn't appear to stay when fourth of five in a maiden over C&D a week ago.
