Irish Stallion Farms EBF Northfields Handicap (Premier Handicap)

Lightly raced son of Frankel reappeared to win over 1m1f here on Derby weekend and more recently needed every yard when getting up late over a mile at Killarney; not as effective in between on softer ground at Galway so probably won't want much more rain now upped in trip.

Debut winner of heavy-ground maiden here last year (7f) and first success since when taking Galway maiden hurdle six days ago (hooded first time); pick of four previous Flat handicap runs when close fourth over this trip at Sligo; in good heart but looks to have a bit to find unless retained hood brings improvement (1lb wrong).

Last year's win in this race came off mark of 94; light campaign this term when tried over longer trips, not discredited in Group 3 at Leopardstown last time; return to this trip a positive but others preferred.

Progressive last summer and again for this season's new yard, winning at Leopardstown and following up off 7lb higher over C&D in lady riders handicap; didn't run badly at Goodwood latest so not one to rule out.

Hasn't won since Group 3 C&D win over two years ago; pick of four runs this term when unlucky in running fifth (beaten only 1.5l) here over 1m4f; hood didn't work at Galway latest and now left off.
