International Stud Book Committee Handicap Hurdle

Quickly become disappointing over fences last winter but returned to hurdling with win at Bangor (2m7f, good) in March and again ran well when fourth over that C&D the following month; also suited by 2m4f; contender if still in same form after 173-day break.

Largely consistent since the winter; his win at Market Rasen (2m7f, good; visor refitted) in August came in a rather messy race (several flights omitted) and the form may not be reliable but he'll be fine over today's shorter trip and ought to give his usual good account.

Kept on strongly for hard-fought win at Worcester (2m, good; front pair clear) last month and is now 3-11 over hurdles; not yet proven over 2m4f but remains very well handicapped on last year's form; major player.

Looked back in prime form when winning quite stylishly at Uttoxeter (2m4f, good) in June but was not seen to quite the same effect on next three outings and has become hard to predict.

Lightly raced since Listed bumper win in February 2023; ran as though something was amiss when upped to 2m4f for handicap debut in August but battled well for narrow success in Worcester maiden hurdle (2m, good) two starts ago and remains open to further improvement if back on song here.
