Overtime Craft Lager Handicap Chase

Made all for Fergal O'Brien here (2m5f, good) six weeks ago, his third start since returning to racing under rules; subsequent 5lb rise ought to be manageable if he continues in good form for new stable.

Started off for Olly Murphy with three hurdle wins this spring (2m6f-2m7f); well beaten on chasing debut in July but travelled strongly for a long way before fading into fourth at Stratford (3m3f, good to firm) last month, and today's drop back in trip looks the right move; shortlisted.

Ended last season in poor form over hurdles and was soundly beaten on chasing debut in July but last month's sixth of 11 in 0-120 grade at Worcester was a big step back in the right direction; hooded for first time here; no surprise if he poses a threat in this easier race.

Has not really kicked on from his front-running win at Hereford (2m5f, good) in the spring but his Newton Abbot third (3m2f, good) in July was a good effort and this return to a right-handed track will suit.

Not yet proven over 3m but chased home the same much-improved rival in two 2m4f Worcester handicaps (both on good) in July and was unlucky to come to grief there last month; has claims here if stamina holds out.
