Won this race last year on soft ground and he added another success at Musselburgh (5f, good) in August; only 1lb higher today but well held in two runs since (stumbled at start on latest) so needs to bounce back.

Two standout efforts for this yard have come at Thirsk, winning in June and runner-up in August (both 5f, good to firm; probably handles good to soft); faded when only sixth at Southwell 11 days ago; stablemate of Ventura Express.

Made all for two short-odds wins at Ripon (6f/5f) in the summer, but was then only eighth of ten on handicap debut at Newmarket (6f; raced freely and faded) two weeks ago; hard to pin down at present but he's still low mileage and there's a reasonable chance we've not seen the best of him yet.

Raced only at 5f; second in the 3yo Dash at Epsom in June and also at Musselburgh and Catterick (wore cheekpieces) on his last two starts; unraced on ground softer than good but so plenty of rain would raise questions but otherwise he has plenty in his favour.

Comes into the reckoning on her second over C&D (good to firm; has won on good to soft) in August, and a below-par run since is probably best forgiven as she raced wide; exposed after 41 races but not ruled out.
