Right back to form under William Pyle on his last two starts, finishing second to Double Parked over C&D before winning over 1m2f here 18 days ago; handles good to firm and soft ground and should be thereabouts.

Hasn't been long with David O'Meara and he's knocking at the door, beaten 1l or less when second at York and fifth at Southwell, both over 1m; may still have some untapped potential and he's high on the list.

Runner-up eight times since his last win in June 2024; had no luck in running at Newcastle last Sunday but there were no obvious excuses at Ayr the time before.

Fourth in this race 12 months ago and arrives in decent form after a never-nearer third at Newcastle last week; holds no secrets from the handicapper but has reasonable each-way claims.
