Racing TV EBF Stallions Guisborough Stakes (Listed Race)

Made it 3-5 on AW with 7f Listed win at Wolverhampton in March; smart handicap performance when defying top weight at Newmarket (7f, good to firm) two starts ago but looked to be weakening when hampered by a faller in a 6f York Listed event last time; below par all three starts on going softer than good so rain could be a negative.

Highly progressive on AW since hooded, recording a triple-figure RPR when seeing off seven rivals in a 1m Kempton handicap in August; prior to that she was denied a clear run when seventh on her turf debut at Thirsk so that shouldn't be taken to suggest she won't prove effective on the grass.

Came good in the mud last autumn, winning an Ascot handicap in September and following up in this race; hasn't come close to that level this season, including back on soft ground in that same Ascot handicap four weeks ago, but still no surprise were he to revive in refitted blinkers.

Had some strong 7f handicap form in the first half of the year but his last two efforts have been disappointing; hopes pinned on a short break sparking a revival; rain wouldn't inconvenience him.

Did it well in handicap company at Chester (7f, good to firm) in August but not in the same form at Goodwood since; a big career best will almost certainly be needed on this first attempt at Listed company.
