British Stallion Studs EBF Premier Fillies' Handicap (GBBPlus Race)

Lightly raced 5yo who won on good to soft and heavy in previous campaigns and hit top form again when pipped in a 1m4f York handicap on good ground on penultimate start; last of six to Hot Flame when favourite on latest but return to 1m2f may help to explain that; worth a second look.

2-13 overall and 1-8 in handicaps, the handicap win in a four-runner race here (1m2f) last November; 5lb lower today than at start of this season but the first-time tongue-tie seemingly needs to make a difference.

Won at Windsor (11.5f) in June and creditable fifth at Glorious Goodwood (1m2f) on penultimate start; well beaten latest (good to soft probably not to blame) and this is her first crack at 1m4f, which is quite interesting.

Won at Yarmouth (1m, good to soft) last October on debut; seen only twice since, when racing freely early on reappearance in August, but still managing to finish second, and comfortably going one better in six-runner race for handicap debut at Haydock (1m2f, good; dictated the pace) five weeks later; up 4lb but promising and 1m4f looks plausible, indeed she has a Group 1 Champions Fillies & Mares entry over this trip in two weeks' time.

Reliable sort who won the first and latest of her four handicaps; wore first-time cheekpieces in the latter at Newbury (1m4f, good to soft) 15 days ago when she went on over 1f out to score comfortably; 7lb rise demands more but she could be set for better still in the headgear.
