Two-time winner for Tom Clover; below par on final few runs for that stable and a return to form is needed but new trainer does well with recruits from other yards; remains in same ownership; one to watch in the betting.

Flopped at Newbury a fortnight ago but perhaps the good to soft ground was to blame; 2-3 in handicaps previously with wins at Nottingham (1m, good to firm) and Newbury (1m, good); his stable won this with a 3yo last year and he could bounce back with a big run if conditions suit.

3yo who made it four handicap wins for the year when scoring on the round course here (1m good to firm) in July, and he returned to form with another handicap win at Chester (7.5f, good to soft) three weeks ago; there's every chance he'll continue to progress and he's in with a chance.

Has run some really good races in defeat this season, including over C&D, but he's been beaten on his last 16 starts and hasn't really threatened on his last two; up against it on today's terms, also.

Very lightly raced 4yo who was runner-up on his first two starts (7f/1m, AW) before winning a maiden at Chantilly (9.5f, AW) in February; however, he's struggled on both runs since; wind op needs to prompt a major revival.
