Narrowly made all over C&D in May off 3lb lower; inconsistent since, wearing cheekpieces on last four outings, but she appeared to run very well from off the pace when 66-1 in a Listed race on latest outing; back up 3lb but considered for a place.

Can make the running; highly progressive 4yo until a lesser result at Ayr on latest outing but being hampered at the start seemed to scupper him; had seven wins May-August and went mighty close at the Doncaster St Leger meeting last month; 5lb higher today but he remains one for the shortlist.

1m2f turf wins this May and June, the latter when tongue tied first time (kept since); ran respectably at 1m4f on last two starts (three places behind Crowd Quake at Doncaster on latest) but return to 1m2f may suit.

Finished in the first three in all eight races for this yard, including two 1m1f wins at Carlisle (made all on penultimate start); there's a slight question mark over him at 1m2f, though, after three attempts this year and today's wide draw probably does not help the cause.

Beat 19 rivals when scoring at York (1m2f, good to firm) in June off 6lb lower under his usual rider Warren Fentiman; three close calls in a row in July/August but his last three starts haven't gone nearly so well.
