Outclassed his rivals in a C&D handicap in July (good ground) and followed up at Chepstow nine days later; better form in defeat since and although this is more competitive than the numbers might suggest, he's a leading contender.

Two wins this year, the second coming over C&D in July off a 4lb lower mark (good ground); solid placed efforts on his last two starts; needs more to defy this mark.

Strong traveller with eight wins on his record, the latest off this mark in March (5f, AW); well beaten in three starts for his new stable though and enough to prove at present.

Not straightforward but he has more ability than his mark and his last two wins have been emphatic ones, latterly a near-5l success over 6f here 19 days ago (heavy; first time accessories); that form has been boosted by the reopposing Diamondsinthesand and a 5lb rise still leaves him lower than when running away with an Epsom handicap last summer (7f, good to soft); 5f asks a different question of him but his stamina will be an asset and they are likely to go hard.

Took advantage of a good opportunity over C&D last month but came up short off higher marks twice since; conditions will be fine but others are more appealing.
