Fantastic Fireworks Fillies' Handicap

Steady progress with each of her three starts, most recently finishing third of nine at Southwell 18 days ago (7f, AW; made the running); makes her handicap debut at a realistic level and she is greatly respected.

Well beaten on her first two starts (6f, good to firm) but she proved a different proposition faced with soft ground at Windsor (6f) three weeks ago, powering home to spring a 40-1 surprise; the third has since won a handicap (admittedly off a mark of just 58) and this extra furlong looks sure to suit; should have more to offer; interesting.

From a family that has served connections extremely well; her standout effort so far, and the one on which she has earned this opening mark, came in a slowly-run five-runner fillies' novice at Carlisle (7f, good to firm) and it could be misleading; her prolific sisters Al Simmo and Albeseeingyer, and brother Myal, all left their early efforts miles behind when moving into handicaps but none of them were successful on handicap debut.

Four-time 7f winner, the latest when getting first run on Dream Illusion at Haydock 17 days ago; couldn't cope with a penalty at Chester one week later but she races off 3lb lower today; has the ability to feature but she hasn't shone in previous Leicester runs.

Made a promising 2yo debut 12 months ago (7f, soft) but she was well beaten when odds-on for her second 2yo start and neither run this year has been too encouraging; this is her first 7f outing since debut, while cheekpieces are now given a go, so a revival wouldn't be a complete bolt from the blue.
