DX Academy Off The Tools Handicap (GBBplus Race)

Won at Carlisle (1m3f, good to soft) in July and followed up here (1m3f, good to soft) this month for course win number four; has scored over C&D on soft but he dropped right out when fourth of six here yesterday.

7yo who hasn't been at the top of his game here on his last two starts, but drops back down in grade today and he's a six-time course winner (on various ground) including twice this summer; not discounted.

Lost a lot of ground at the start at Ayr last Thursday so there's a risk attached on the back of that; however, in the circumstances she did well to finish third of six (beaten just over 9l) and three of her last four wins have come here (on various ground) including this race last year; capable.

Won here (1m3f, good) in August on second start; flopped when odds-on for Catterick novice (1m4f, good to soft) subsequently and something to prove after that, but this well-bred 3yo could be on a good opening mark if tapping back into his previous promise.

Unraced on slow ground and his claims aren't overly compelling on what he's shown in four handicaps since winning a Redcar maiden in May; however, he's contested some tough races and has edged down the weights; not ruled out.
