Safely held over 2m4f here in July, after a 388-day layoff, but now only 2lb higher than when winning at Stratford (2m6f, good to firm) last summer; seems versatile regarding ground; could have a say.

Seemingly perked up by change of headgear when running well in two recent Worcester chases (albeit fell on latter occasion); on handy mark for this first hurdling start since 2023 and soft ground won't both him; player if the blinkers continue to keep him focused.

Veteran who gained his latest win in Class 2 C&D contest (good; has also won on heavy) last summer and is now 9lb below that mark; out of form this year, though, and needs to prove he still has what it takes.
