Last win was off 4lb higher over 1m2f at Doncaster in June 2023; fair fourth over same C&D last time (good to firm); drop back in trip not sure to suit.

Has been in good form recently, winning over 1m at Doncaster (good) and Thirsk (good to firm) before finishing a creditable third off this career-high mark over 1m1f at Carlisle last time (good; fourth has won since); should be thereabouts.

Tough veteran; two wins this term, the latest at Carlisle last week (1m, good to soft); won this race off a 3lb higher mark two years ago (good) and should go well again, particularly if the ground eases.

Mixed form this season, best run when third at Newmarket in June; quite interesting with cheekpieces back on having run well on previous occasion he wore them; further rain a negative.

Mainly below-par since winning at Carlisle on reappearance in May (7f, good to soft; tongue-tie first time); best form with some give in the ground so would be interesting if the going eases; blinkers now tried (pulled hard with a visor).
