Beat a couple of today's rivals in the Group 3 Acomb at York (7f, good to firm; followed up debut win) but isn't guaranteed to confirm the placings, having failed to back up the form when favourite in the Group 2 Champagne Stakes at Doncaster where he was two places behind Oxagon.

Ballydoyle colt who landed the Coventry at Royal Ascot in great style; hasn't quite been able to justify favouritism in the Prix Morny or National Stakes but those good efforts confirm that there's likely a Group 1 prize in him; lost out only narrowly in good tussle with Zavateri in latter at the Curragh (upped to 7f, yielding) latest; major contender.

Ties in with several of today's rivals on his consistent Group form since debut win; split Gewan and Distant Storm in the Acomb at York on penultimate start, then ran well behind Zavateri and stablemate Gstaad in National Stakes at the Curragh; took a good hold both times, so there's potential for an even bigger effort if he settles better.
