Caught rivals on the hop when winning a Group 3 at Newmarket (5f, good; first-time cheekpieces; 33-1) in May 2024; rather marooned at different levels for this yard but this is arguably his most realistic task of the year and replacing cheekpieces with a visor could help.

Had a good spell in Bahrain earlier in 2025 but returned to grass off an 8lb higher mark than his final turf run in 2024 and, even allowing for the daunting company he's been keeping, another win has been well out of reach; probably needs to shed more weight.

Cosy winner of first C&D start in May, despite having to be switched; things never panned out from a difficult draw in his only subsequent start here but he did well to get as close as he did when fifth in the Shergar Cup at Ascot (5f, good to firm; blindfold removed late) since; interesting.

Two course wins at 6f and 5f; weighted to go well on the pick of his 5f form, and he didn't do at all badly in the Shergar Cup at Ascot recently, but perhaps the flame doesn't burn quite as brightly as it used to as he's having a mixed season; has a bit to prove for win purposes.

Successful debut over 6f but improved form at 5f since, winning her first two starts at the trip (AW/good) before going out like a light in a Group 3 at Sandown (good to firm) in July; had earlier been taken out of a race on the latter ground and presumably wouldn't want it to dry out much; remains of interest, though.
