Heavily-raced 8yo was scoring for the seventh time when winning at Gowran in May; safely held off revised mark twice since, here and when fair effort at Leopardstown latest; not the most consistent and has a bit to find on these terms; well-beaten here yesterday (6.45).

Six runs have been over further, notably Down Royal handicap fourth over 1m2f (good); not at same level at Ayr on latest; back in trip and rider's claim gives him a chance if having the speed to lie up.

Much improved on third start this term for new yard, keeping on well for second behind a clear winner over this trip in Limerick handicap; very disappointing however when favourite at Bellewstown since; needs to find more at these weights.

Some good runs for William Haggas last year but not at same level in three maiden starts this term for new yard, most recently never counting when seemingly ridden to get 1m4f trip in Tramore claimer; hard to fancy.

Overcame a slow start and trouble in running to win Roscommon handicap in May; hasn't counted twice since but overall profile gives him major claims if avoiding a slow start; draw not ideal.
