Won a small-field maiden at Catterick as a 2yo (5f, good to soft) and made a winning reappearance at the same track in April (good to firm); well beaten twice in May but the stable, who also run Brazilian Belle, are in better form now.

Always prominent when a game C&D winner in May off 2lb lower; near miss at Pontefract 18 days later before a lacklustre run back at Pontefract last month; struggled in a better race at York last time but this should be more suitable.

Comes here after two near misses at Newmarket's July course (both 5f on good to firm); edging back up the weights as a consequence and his style of racing means he is always a hostage to fortune.

Back to winning ways when seeing off six rivals in a Class 5 at Thirsk two weeks ago (5f, good to soft); better form when picked off late at Musselburgh last week (5f, good); has run well over C&D in the past and she's a solid contender in her current form.

Promising 2yo, including a soft-ground Redcar win (6f); absent for 713 days prior to finishing tailed off in a 7f handicap at Redcar in April; that was his only run for Geoff Oldroyd and he's now back with his original trainer (and running in his colours) so presumably not felt to be a busted flush; risky but could yet bounce back.
