Went close in Britain for Karl Burke last season; has first run for new yard today returning from 297 days off and gelded since last seen; needs clear career best though.

Was in good form on AW towards back end of last year and signs of a revival when a close fourth at Fairyhouse 15 days ago; same mark and should be in the mix once more if he takes to first-time cheekpieces.

Came on from his return to win an AW handicap off this mark and not disgraced twice since, not getting the clearest of runs on either occasion; capable at this level and Colin Keane now takes over; shortlisted.

Three-time course winner (two C&D) who is on a decent mark but doesn't tend to produce his best first time out so may be best watched after 237 days off.

Both wins have come here, the latest over C&D in March and conceded first run to the winner (re-opposing Brigid's Cloak) when runner-up (beaten 4l) over C&D last month; better off at the weights with that rival now and possibly more to come; high draw can be an advantage over this C&D.
