Scored over C&D in May and his C&D second (also on good) to Saint Bibiana last month was another career-best performance; continues to climb up the weights but must be considered in current form.

Not far off his best form when close third at Cartmel (3m1f, good to soft) in May, after a layoff, but two lesser efforts have followed and he now has a point to prove; cheekpieces removed after one use.

Won three times from the front in the spring (2m4f-2m5f, good) and ran well in defeat at Stratford (2m6f, good to firm) at start of this month but didn't fire here (2m4f, good) on Friday and needs to bounce back quickly.

Progressive mare who kept on resolutely to win similar race to this over C&D (good; first-time cheekpieces) last month and has now won three in a row; another 7lb higher today but still makes obvious appeal.

The form of this month's C&D (good) win looks slightly dubious, given that most several of the flights were omitted, but he did it in good style and is now 4-11 over hurdles; no surprise if he's in the thick of things.
