Al Basti Equiworld, Dubai International Stakes In Honour Of Kevin Prendergast (Group 3)

Group 3 winner last season and not far behind Los Angeles and White Birch in the Mooresbridge Stakes; confirmed that promise with a facile 1m4f Listed success here last month; has to give weight away back down in trip this time but the form of last month's win is working out nicely and he ought to be bang there once again.

Group 2 course winner as a juvenile who was only seen once last term; down the field in the Tattersalls Gold Cup last month; that was a tough ask on return from 413 days off and this drop in class looks more suitable; potential pace angle and not ruled out if he can come on for that return.

Goes well here (four course wins including Group 2) and was often a big threat at this level in his pomp; however, not getting any younger and he hasn't really threatened in three Listed runs this term; needs the return to this venue to spark a revival.

Fourth in last year's Irish Oaks and bounced back from a lesser run when getting the better of Layfayette in a Listed race at Leopardstown in October; lightly-raced 4yo who we may not have seen the best of yet but others preferred with race fitness on side.

Made all in 1m4f Leopardstown maiden but barely beaten a rival twice since and was tailed off at Royal Ascot last week; questions to answer now.
