2025 Mary Cecilia Beddows Memorial Juvenile Hurdle (GBB Race)

Won AW maiden in March and drew 29l clear to score on hurdle debut at Hexham (2m, good to soft) last month; has penalty to carry here but could still be very hard to beat.

Fair on the Flat (albeit a maiden) and travelled strongly for a long way when clear second on recent hurdling debut at Newton Abbot (2m1f, good), where a slow jump at the last flight may have cost him the race; respected.

Yet to make any further progress on the Flat since winning 9.4f AW nursery in December (RPR 68) but should be fine stamina-wise over hurdles and has possibilities if he takes to this game.

0-11 on the Flat; seemed to respond well to first-time visor when close third at Lingfield (7f, AW; RPR 63) in March but two disappointing runs have followed and stamina is a possible issue on this hurdling debut.

Runner-up on three of his seven hurdling starts in France, most recently after putting in a good front-running shift on good ground three weeks ago; no surprise if he puts his experience to good use on this British debut.
