Launched hurdling career with two good-ground course wins last summer (2m4f/2m) and was creditable third on handicap debut at Kelso (2m5f, good to soft) in November; off for eight months since but remains open to improvement; major player if fully tuned up.

Resurgent 7yo who won a 2m seller in May and has added two handicaps to his tally since (2m4f/2m7f); suited by this C&D and ought to remain very competitive after latest 5lb rise; respected.

Lightly raced since 2m6f Downpatrick maiden win (good to yielding) in summer 2023 and was pulled up in Cartmel handicap a fortnight ago, after latest layoff; might have needed that recent outing but his current ability remains hard to gauge.

Dual 2m4f winner for Fergal O'Brien during the winter (good to soft/soft); sold out of that stable after some disappointing efforts towards end of last season but stuck to her task pretty well when close second of four at Hexham (2m4f, good) for new yard three weeks ago and remains on a good mark.

Ended last season in very poor form for Nigel Twiston-Davies but seemed to have turned a corner when close third of four (just behind Jakana) at Hexham (2m4f, good) for new stable three weeks ago, where a last-flight error might have cost him the race; has a fighting chance here; tongue-tie added.
