Saints Kidz Community Football Handicap Hurdle

3-3 in bumpers last year (two wins here) and opened hurdling account in modest Sedgefield maiden (2m4f, soft) in December; not discredited when fifth over 2m7f at Thurles (good) later that month and has good claims on this handicap debut if ready to roll after 204-day absence.

Won twice over C&D (good) last summer and took form to whole new level when posting 50-1 success in 25-runner series final at Punchestown festival (2m3f, yielding) in April; held off new mark twice since but drops in grade today and the return to this track is an obvious plus.

Made the frame in two chases in the spring and held every chance before last-flight fall on return to hurdling at Warwick (3m2f, good) last month; nudged up 2lb to new career-high mark here but still considered.

Returned from layoff with low-key run in May and was brought down mid-race at Kilbeggan last month but this Irish raider is well handicapped on old form and the booking of Sean Bowen catches the eye.

Showed the benefit of his reappearance run when coming from off the pace to score over C&D (good; front pair clear) ten days ago; went up 5lb for that and Peter Kavanagh no longer claims 3lb but, nevertheless, features prominently in calculations.
