Horizon Group Maiden Hurdle (GBB Race)

Did not show a great deal in two hurdling starts for Derek Shaw last summer (2m; raced far too freely both times) and was safely held off lowly Flat mark on both starts for new stable last month; sports refitted hood and first-time tongue-tie here.

0-4 in points; rallied for modest third at Cothelstone (good to firm) in May but the comfortable winner of that race has a lowly rating under rules; can only be watched on this rules debut.

Struggled in two Irish points in spring 2024 but returned from layoff with front-running win in that sphere in March (good to yielding); subsequently changed hands for 27,000euros; makes rules debut today; the market may point the way.

0-8 in Irish points; placed both times he completed this year but the form of his good-ground third in May is not worth much; tongue-tie fitted for this rules debut; considered only if lively in the betting.

Creditable fourth in fairly good Fairyhouse maiden hurdle (2m4f, soft) on debut in April; well beaten in a subsequent bumper and was a shade disappointing when back over hurdles at Clonmel (2m1f, good to yielding) last month but still features prominently in calculations here.
